Atisha and Mike’s Modern White Wedding at the #BelleairBeach Community Center #weddingharpist12/19/2015 I had been looking forward to playing Atisha and Mike’s wedding for months! They requested a duet with a violinist and I was so thrilled to partner with my friend, Jerry Allen, for this event. Even though the weather required the wedding to be hosted indoors at Belleair Beach Community Center. The venue and ceremony location were SO gorgeous. Aisha Jimenez from Events by AJ and Joann Moncada from Glamorous Occasions did such a wonderful job transforming the ballroom into a gorgeous chic ceremony site. The stage was adorned with calla lilies, candles and a beautiful chandelier. The white uplighting set the mood for the wedding, modern and bright. All guests were asked to wear all white which was very elegant. Mike came down the aisle on a hoverboard with LED lights. This was one of my favorite details of the wedding. It was so cool and unique. I have to take a moment to talk about the bride and how stunning she looked! Atisha wore a gorgeous lace dress that was sexy and elegant. She was smoking! Thank you Atisha and Mike for having us at your wedding. I wish you many years of fun, happiness, and love. Photographer: Heather Waggoner Photography I had the opportunity to play for GEICO’s service awards in Lakeland, Florida. This event was held to recognize the company’s employees for reaching milestones in their service to GEICO. The CEO, Tony Nicely, flew in from D.C. to attend the luncheon. It was nice to see a CEO of a large company acknowledge employees of all positions on their many years of dedication. Mr. Nicely offered words of thanks, appreciation, and encouragement. Thank you GEICO for letting me be a part of your special event! Click or press the photo below to start slideshow. I had the privilege of playing a very special Black Tie event for South Florida State College in Avon Park. The event was hosted by the college to pay tribute and recognize Alan Jay Wildstein and his family for their contributions to the school. Mr. Wildstein and his family were there for the opening night of the theatre that was named in his honor. I had such a great time playing for the guests while they dined on h'orderves and mingled with each other. I am so glad that I brought my amplifier for this event (saved my poor little fingers!). There was a great turn out with approximately 250-300 guests! After the cocktail hour, the guests were invited to the gorgeous theatre for “A Night with Jay Leno”. Thank you Jamie and South Florida State College for including me in such a special night! Click or press the photo below to start the slideshow! |
