A Cinderellabration at Lake Mirror Tower in Downtown Lakeland, Florida!

1/21/2015

Comments

Danny Rogerson with It's In The Details certainly knows how to create a dream come true event!  On Thursday, January 15, he and his team created Cinderellabration, a fairy tale open house experience at Lake Mirror Tower.  Upon arrival, guests were greeted by Cinderella's carriage parked at the front entrance. Entering Lake Mirror Tower, the clock adorned with beautiful baby blue and cream flowers set the theme everything to come, from a harpist in the lobby, to the doorman at the Lakeland Room entrance, the four piece quartet and the waltz instructions. Every detail was attended to perfectly, right down to the mice overlooking the event from a teacup on the window sill.  This is the type of attention to detail that can only come from years of experience and a true eye for design.  The team that worked on the event included:

  • It's in the Details - Danny Rogerson, Gwen Rogerson
  • Marti Newkirk Photography
  • Orlando Horse and Carriage - Dustin Houck
  • Harpist Kristin Elizabeth
  • Linda Brown Cakes -  Linda Brown
  • Desserterie -  Lea Williams
  • Taylormade Floral - Heather Taylor
  • Albert Griffin Bridal - Melissa Roberts
  • A Chair Affair - Liz Kirkly
  • Connie Duglin Linens - Marla Thomas
  • The Terrace Hotel - Sophia Huffaker, Catering Manager
  • The Lakeland Ballroom - Randy Whitworth
  • Ensemble Pasacalle - Perry Allen
  • Lake Mirror Tower - Isabelle Perez and Tammy Brewer

New Year's Wedding:  Mariah and J Cody at #DiehlFarms #newyearswedding #southernwedding #storybookwedding

Mariah and J Cody had the perfect southern, rustic wedding at Diehl Farms in Southeast Hillsborough County.  I was fortunate to be able to play their ceremony music and entertain their guests during cocktail hour.  The bride looked absolutely gorgeous as she was brought to the site on a beautiful horse-drawn carriage.  I loved how they incorporated their two children into the ceremony, so precious!  The wedding looked like a scene from a magazine.  Their family barn was transformed into gorgeous setting for the reception.  Mariah and J Cody really had a magical day and I am thankful I could be a part of it!  Congratulations to the lovely couple, and may you continue to experience a lifetime of happiness!

It's an honor to receive this award as the only harpist in the Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota area to win it for 2015! :)  I'm very passionate about music and my family; and I let that passion carry over to the people and events I play for.  Make sure to check out my reviews on WeddingWire and throughout my website and contact me on how I can help you make your event unique with the addition of a concert grand pedal harp!

About the award:

The WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® recognizes the top 5 percent of local Wedding Professionals from the WeddingWire Network throughout the United States, Canada and abroad that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® are awarded solely based on the reviews from over 200,000 newlyweds. Awards are determined by a combination of excellence in four factors: overall rating (quality), total number of reviews (quantity), review performance from 2014 (recency), and consistency of reviews from year to year (consistency).

I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to play for Amanda and Jon.  Amanda and I have been friends since childhood and I was honored that she wanted me to be an integral part of her special day.  Of course Amanda looked absolutely gorgeous.  My favorite part of the wedding was watching Jon's face radiate with happiness as he saw her walk towards him.  Jon is active duty Air Force and I'm thankful to him and all members of our military that serve our country!  I wish them both a lifetime of happiness and can't wait for little babies to play with! ;)
