I was so excited to play at the amazing The West Events venue in Madeira Beach. Madeira beach is located just north of St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island in Pinellas County. I’ve never played at this gorgeous event venue before and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. The beautiful venue has a modern industrial vibe and is located just across the street from the beach. The ceremony location has a wood paneled wall and is perfect for intimate ceremonies or large guest counts. Gorgeous chandeliers stationed throughout the room provide the perfect “mood” lighting. I love how the couple had candles lining the aisle AND up by the altar. For the procession, the couple chose music from the Jehovah’s songbook. For the recessional, the couple chose a song that is special to them called Ocean by Karol G. I loved that the song was in Spanish. The beautiful thing about music is that it transcends through all languages. After meeting with Rebecca and Brandon before the wedding, they decided to add cocktail hour music to their package. It's a great compliment when a couple hears you play and decide YES we need more harp music!
The cocktail hour location is outside in the cutest courtyard. The venue is designed to a 'T'. Having separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is a wonderful way to get the most out of your wedding venue. Each space provides unique scenery and a different "feel" for your guests. It help keeps the night exciting! Even though it was a little chilly on their wedding day, there were heaters throughout the courtyard to warm the guests (and me!). THANK YOU The West Events for not allowing my fingers to freeze. Playing with cold fingers is painful! lol Rebecca and Brandon had the most gorgeous wedding filled with love, family, and friends and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it! |
