On January 29, 2015, I had the honor to be part of the vendors team that participated in the “Rock the Ranch Experience" at the stunning venue of Rocking H Ranch in Lakeland! This sold out event allowed couples and bridal parties to meet and greet with Central Florida’s best wedding vendors and get inspired first-hand by their work through a mock ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception; complete with a delicious dinner & drinks. The guests were able to mingle with multiple vendors as well as learn industry tips from the guest speaker Lauren Harper from Every Last Detail blog. In addition, many wonderful prizes from the vendors were given away, including a free wedding at Rocking H Ranch! Half of the proceeds were donated to the Make a Wish foundation. I was so honored to play the wedding ceremony music for Kenara and Richard. I was looking forward to their wedding since Kenara first contacted me last year through Facebook. Kenara and Richard tied the knot at the beautiful Lake Ashton in Lake Wales. Even though it was a gloomy day, the wedding was absolutely beautiful. Kenara made the decision early in the morning to move the wedding indoors and not risk the rain. She was very assertive with her decision and I thought that was great! She didn't want to worry about the weather. She just wanted to enjoy her day and rightfully so! The grand ballroom looked gorgeous, decorated with beautiful purple flower arrangements and purple lights. Even though getting the harp on stage was a little bit of a challenge, it was the perfect location! Beth (my harp) looked great up on the stage! The ceremony was personalized and unique. Their nephew was so cute walking down the aisle announcing the bride and also recited a touching poem during the ceremony. Did I mention how absolutely radiant the bride looked?! Kenara wore a stunning gown and her smile was glowing as she approached the love of her life. I'm so fortunate to be able to witness and cherish such precious moments in my clients' lives. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Blocker for including me in your day. Congratulations to you both on the next journey of your lives. Click on the picture below for the slideshow! I was invited to play for Dr. Paul G. Toomey’s opening of his new office in Bradenton, Florida. The office was decorated beautifully. It didn’t have that “sterile” feeling of many doctor’s offices. It felt very “home-y”. The coolest decoration was the set of paintings completed by Dr. Toomey’s wife. It was four abstract paintings of a stomach, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder (Be sure to check out the photo below!). I played a variety of classical and contemporary songs while guests munched on delicious hordevours and sipped on a variety of beverages. I had such a blast playing and interacting with the guests. Thank you Florida Surgical Specialists for allowing me to be a part of your open house. I wish your office much success! Click on the photo below to start the slideshow! |
