I was SO thrilled to be invited to join Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce in honoring our military Flag Officers and Key Commanders. It was such an honor to play at this event. Words can not represent how appreciative and thankful I am to the men and women that service our country so I am glad that I was able to contribute to this event with my music. I played a variety of classical and contemporary music while the honored guests indulged on delicious food and beverages. A very decorated guest approached me at the end of the night and told me that my “baby is listening to some very beautiful music”. This made my heart happy. :) Thank you to TECO and the Military Council of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce for hosting this great event! Click on the photo below to start the slideshow!
I was so excited to play at my first Disney wedding! And even more excited to meet Allison and Timothy! I was fortunate to play for their intimate wedding ceremony held at the Crescent Terrace at the Swan hotel in Walt Disney World. Allison had requested “Watermark” and “Caribbean Blue” for the processional. I love Enya so I was delighted with this request! Allison looked absolutely gorgeous in her sequined gown as she walked toward her groom. Timothy was grinning from ear to ear and seemed so delighted that the moment arrived. The couple wrote their own vows; I love whenever a couple includes a personal touch to their ceremony! I must say, I was rather impressed with Timothy’s vows. They were very sweet and sincere. Good job!! Did I mention that the couple are also “gamers” and requested “Lost Woods (Saria’s Song)” from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the recessional song? This song was so fun to learn and was the perfect song for the couple’s grand exit! I was excited when one of their guests shouted “Yeah! Zelda!” when I was playing (see video of the song below). My first Disney wedding definitely didn’t disappoint. I am so thrilled that Allison and Timothy included me in their special day. Thank you!! I wish them many laughs and thrills while playing video games and in life!! ;)
