I was so honored when I was contacted to play for Jey and Jose’s wedding. Initially, I was going to be playing for just the cocktail hour but the couple decided they liked my music so much that they wanted me to play for their ceremony. What an honor! The wedding had a Native American Theme to honor the bride’s heritage. EVERYTHING about this wedding was PERFECT! I’m not even embarrassed to admit that the ceremony made me cry! The couples wrote their own vows and Jey sang hers. There was not a dry eye in the audience. Jey looked so GORGEOUS in her one shoulder fit and flare dress. Jose looked dashing in his maroon tux. I have never seen a groom in this color and I LOVED IT! An amazing team of vendors came together to put this wedding together and I’m thankful to have been a part of it. I wish Jey and Jose a lifetime of love and happiness! xoxo
I was so excited to play for Candace and Joseph’s big day! Candace gave me a heart attack when she called me because in all of our correspondence she used her legal name. So when she said her name was Candace and she was one of my brides, I felt a moment of panic. “Did I forget someone?!” Thankfully it was a simple misunderstanding. Anyway, on my way to the wedding I was nervous because there was rain in the forecast. However, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day! It was nice and breezy with no rain in sight! The ceremony was perfect at the beautiful Baker's Ranch in Parrish! Events in Bloom did an amazing job creating the arch for the alter and the girls’ bouquets! White roses decorated the ceremony site. The couple chose “All of Me”, “A Thousand Years”, and “Unconditionally” for their ceremony music. Candace looked STUNNING in her fit and flare mermaid style dress. Joseph was so excited to see his bride! All the bridesmaids’ also looked so beautiful in their champagne colored dresses. The color scheme and decorations were perfect for this wedding! I also had the pleasure of entertaining the guests for cocktail hour! I’m so lucky. Thank you Candace and Joseph for allowing me the opportunity to be the soundtrack to your wedding! May all the years ahead bring you nothing but joy and happiness!
In January of 2015, I had the opportunity to participate in a wonderful event called the “Rock The Ranch Experience” at the Rocking H Ranch in Lakeland, Florida. See my blog post here to learn more about this event. At the event, I raffled a free cocktail hour prize! The sweet couple, Caroline and Kyle, were the winners and were so excited to have won! I have been looking forward to their wedding since the event and was SO excited when they asked that I play their ceremony music too. Rocking H Ranch was the perfect venue for their country wedding. Their wedding was perfect… the location, the weather, the dress! Caroline looked absolutely breathtaking and it was obvious that Kyle thought so too. He could NOT stop smiling! I love how the bridesmaids all wore cowboy boots! I got to work with some of my favorite vendors for this wedding, including Andrea Jackson Photography and Chris from Graingertainment. I am so happy for this sweet couple and wish them the best in their new journey of love! xoxo
I was contacted by the mother of the groom to play for an intimate backyard wedding. Mayra was so excited to have me play for her son’s special day and so was I! Emily and Marvin are high school sweethearts and I loved hearing about their love story. I was a little nervous about the weather heading to the ceremony. It was gray and overcast with rain on the radar. However, the clouds parted and the sun began to shine during the ceremony. It was perfect! The backyard was beautifully decorated. It was like a Pinterest Paradise (If you don’t already know, I love Pinterest so this is a big compliment!). I LOVED it! Emily looked beautiful and her dress was gorgeous! I loved that the bridesmaids all wore different style dresses but matched in color. The groom was super involved in selecting the music. I love when a groom gets really involved, it shows their excitement to get married. This couldn’t be any more true! You could tell how excited Marvin was to marry his bride and it showed in his vows (the couple wrote their own vows). Marvin’s father officiated the ceremony, it was so special! He promised he wasn’t going to get choked up but he couldn’t fight the tears! So sweet!! After the ceremony, I hung around for a little bit and the guests posed and took pictures with the harp. Beth is a perfect backdrop for photos! Thank you Emily and Marvin for including me in your special ceremony. I wish you both a lifetime of love, success, and happiness!
