I was so excited to play for Melissa and Jorge’s big day! Ever since our initial consultation in my home studio, Melissa was looking forward to having “Beth” at her wedding. (I loved how she actually referred to my harp by name! Awesome!) It was a rainy day, which is why there aren’t too many pictures of me (can you say frizz?), but the wedding was absolutely beautiful nonetheless. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Sunset Grill in Little Harbor. Little Harbor is on Tampa Bay in Ruskin, Florida. Despite the rain, the view was still breathtaking. I loved watching the waves and the boats passing by while I was setting up to play. You can even see St. Petersberg across the Bay! The ceremony was very emotional, the whole room was in tears. The ceremony music consisted of Pachebel’s “Canon”, “A Thousand Years”, and the “Wedding March”. Once the couple was announced husband and wife, the sun came out. Can you talk about perfect timing?! I thought someone turned on more lights but it was just the sun escaping from the clouds. Obviously that was an indication of a lifetime of happiness! Even though there may be dark times, if you work together and face any challenges as a couple, the light will always prevail. My husband delighted them with the soothing sounds of his piano music at their cocktail hour in the beautiful Club Renaissance in Sun City, FL. Check out a video of him playing at the cocktail hour below! We are so happy for this beautiful couple. Thank you Melissa and Jorge for allowing us to be including in your special moment.
