Karidad and Rey’s Beautiful @BokTower Wedding! #boktowerwedding #harpist (photos/video)

I’m honored that I was chosen to be a part of Karie and Rey’s wedding ceremony at the beautiful Bok Tower Gardens.  Even though it was a little chilly that day, the skies were blue and it was such a beautiful day at the gorgeous gardens.  I loved looking at the scenery while I was playing (and trying to keep warm! I’m so glad I brought my fingerless gloves. hehe).  As if the garden wasn’t perfect enough, they decorated the ceremony site!  It was like a Pinterest dream (I LOVE Pinterest)!  They had cute signs, a special altar site with drapery and flowers, and a table set up with favors and decorations.  It was so CUTE!!! I loved entertaining the guests while they waited for the ceremony site.  My music provided a nice distraction to the breezy weather. I love that the bride had such a fun music request for her walk down the aisle… “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay. The wedding party and the bride looked stunning but it was Karidad’s smile as she walked down the aisle that was breathtaking!  Rey looked very sharp in his military uniform, thank you for your service Rey!  Thank you for including me in such a monumental moment in your lives.  I wish you both nothing but the best! Check out the photos and video below!

Jessica and David’s Awesome Aquarium #Wedding at the @floridaaquarium #TampaHarpist (photos)

Let me just say…I was SO excited for Jessica and David’s wedding!  Not only was I looking forward to playing at the Florida Aquarium for the first time, I was so excited to play the songs the couple had chosen.  When I first arrived to the aquarium, I was blown away by the ceremony location.  The ceremony took place in front of a large tank filled with fish, eel, turtles, sharks, etc.  There were white curtains with beautiful uplighting.  Gorgeous flowers decorated the aisle. The wedding’s hashtag was even displayed in a mist/fog (sorry I don’t know the name of that special effect), SO cool!  I played a variety of music while the guests arrived, including Disney songs, Game of Thrones Main Theme, and Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. The uplighting was set to change colors with changes in music.  This was new to me.  I thought it was so cool that the lighting was synced to my playing.  I enjoyed watching my strings changed colors as I played.  Jessica looked stunning in her strapless dress (as you can see in the photo below)! The couple recited their own vows which were very sweet and straight from the heart. David swept Jessica off her feet so it was only fitting that they included the tradition of “jumping the broom” to start their journey together. Congratulations Jessica and David.  I’m so honored that you chose me to be a  part of your journey. I wish you both the best!! Click or press the photo below to start the slideshow!

Sofia and Osley's beautiful traditional Catholic #wedding at Saint Joseph in Tampa #tampaharpist

I was so honored when Sofia asked me to play for her wedding. I first met Sofia and Osley at theRock the Ranch Experience at the gorgeous Rocking H Ranch in Lakeland, Florida. The wedding took place at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Tampa Florida. The ceremony and mass were so beautiful and complete with an organist and choir! The music director and I did a harp/flute duet of “Ave Maria” (see a small video clip below).  I had such a great time playing with Alex.  We even played a couple songs together before the ceremony started. The ceremony was en Español which I really enjoyed.  Even though I couldn’t understand much of the ceremony (I REALLY need to practice and learn more Spanish!!), I was able to focus on the passion and emotion in the ceremony. During the ceremony, the couple greeted their family and friends.  It was a brief moment where the ceremony paused so the couple could hug and recognize their guests.  I LOVED this!! I found this to be really special since they were able to include everyone in the ceremony. I also especially enjoyed the music of the choir! Sofia looked absolutely breath-taking!  Sofia and Osley had THE perfect wedding ceremony and I’m so glad to have been a part of it!!  I wish the couple a lifetime of love, faith, and happiness!  ¡¡¡¡Felicidades!!!!  Click or tab on the photo below to start the slideshow!
