I love love LOVE playing (and listening to) Christmas music so I was thrilled to be asked to play for Colonial Oaks Baptist Church Christmas Eve Service. The church hosted a wonderful program and I was honored to play for the guests while they arrived. Everyone at the church was so kind and welcoming. I had such a great time playing and even brought my family to enjoy the program. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to watch a lot of the program since I had to take care of the baby when I wasn’t performing, but from the little that I did get to watch I was quite impressed. The church and the stage was decorated beautifully. Thank you for including me in such a great program and I can’t wait to play again next year! Omanice and Linear’s Waterside Wedding at St. Pete’s Museum of History @SPMOH #StPeteHarpist1/16/2016 I had been looking forward to Omanice and Linear’s wedding for about a year! The bride is so sweet (and did I mention gorgeous?) and was such a pleasure to work with. I had the honor to play the ceremony music for the couple. The setting of the ceremony was perfect! I had the best view overlooking the bay and the sailboats. The weather was a little chilly but it was welcomed since we had been experiencing unseasonably warm weather the days before. Omanice looked stunning. She was regal. She looked like a queen! The bridesmaids and groomsmen seemed like a lot of fun. I could only imagine how great the reception was! My favorite part of the wedding you ask? The most adorable, cutest (no, that’s not being redundant. He was seriously that darling!) ringbearer that drove down the aisle in his power wheels. It was priceless! I’m so thankful to have met such a wonderful couple and to have been included in their memorable day. I wish Omanice and Linear the best! I was first contacted by a close friend of the couple, Kim Rivera, and was hired to play as a wedding present (so thoughtful!). Kim is also a fellow musician/composer and offered to compose an original piece for the processional. It was such an honor to play a piece that was so special for the couple and it was so BEAUTIFUL! I loved everything about this wedding. Since the wedding was on the beach, Trudie, my celtic lever harp came with me to enjoy the sunset. ;) The couple incorporated their two dogs into the ceremony. The dogs were stars! They were so well behaved and enjoyed the spotlight. Terri was glowing. Not only did she have the “I’m so excited to marry my best friend” glow, but she had the radiant glow of an expectant mother. She looked gorgeous! The weather was perfect and the sunset at the stunning Loews Don Cesar Hotel was picturesque - check out the photos on the slideshow below! I haven’t been to the beach for about a year so it was so nice to have the sand under my feet and watch the sunset. Thank you so much to Kim, and the bride and groom. I wish Terri and Ken a lifetime of love and laughter with each other and their growing family! Click or press on the photo below to start the slideshow! I absolutely LOVE playing at the Palmetto Club! It is such a beautiful venue and I love the outside garden. I was so excited to play for Kayla and Tim’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The weather was absolutely perfect. The sky was bright blue with gorgeous white puffy clouds. The venue was decorated in a winter theme and the bridesmaids wore royal blue. Kayla looked stunning and was so excited to be standing next to her husband. The religious ceremony highlighted their faith and featured their love for one another. The couple chose some of my favorite songs for the ceremony; the theme from “The Notebook”, “All of Me” and “Love Me Like You Do”. After the beautiful ceremony, I relocated to the patio for the cocktail hour. A few of the guests very kindly helped me carry my harp up the stairs. I’m always so appreciative of the help from strangers when it comes to moving or loading/unloading the harp. (Seriously considering taking up the violin again. lol) I had such a great time playing at the cocktail hour and interacting with the guests, especially the toddlers! It’s so cool to watch young children experience the harp for the first time. I’m so thankful for Kayla and TIm for allowing me to be a part of their wedding day! I wish you both all the happiness that life has to offer. Click or press on the photo below to start the slideshow. Heather and Greg’s traditional wedding at @StJoesChurchLkd in Lakeland Florida #lkld #harpist1/5/2016 Heather and Gregory had a lovely wedding inside the beautiful St. Joseph’s Catholic church. Heather had won my wedding ceremony package as a promotion I was offering at the Polk County Bridal Show in 2014. I loved that the couple choose a traditional wedding that centered around their faith. The wedding highlighted their love for each other and for God. The church was gorgeous. I loved the wood ceilings and the stained glass windows. The harp looked SO beautiful on the stage. The bride walked down the aisle to “What a Wonderful World” which was perfect! I loved watching Greg’s reaction to Heather. You could see how ecstatic he was to be marrying the woman of his dreams. He really was grinning from ear to ear. Don’t get me wrong, Heather was SO happy and smiled just as big but there is something about watching the groom light up when he sees his bride. Even though the ceremony was traditional, the couple kept it modern with the recessional song, “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. I loved that the couple balanced traditional with modern and had a such an elegant ceremony. Thank you Heather and Greg for including me in your very special moment!
