I was so excited to play for Alison and Michael’s wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota. This was my first time at the gardens and it was so beautiful. Even though it was a bit of a walk to set up my harp at the ceremony site, it was so worth it! I loved walking through the gardens and enjoying my beautiful surroundings. I had the opportunity to work with one of my favorite wedding planners, Lucy Halasz from LH Events. The couple chose unique songs for the ceremony. I played “Come Away with Me”, “Hallelujah”, and “What a Wonderful World”. The ceremony was just as beautiful as the bride! Alison looked gorgeous (and sexy!) with her lace dress. The couple exchanged their own vows that were sweet and unique. I loved it! It was obvious that Alison and Mike are the perfect match. They seemed to complement each other perfcectly! They were laughing and smiling the whole time. The guests were amazing and helped me carry my bench and push my harp for me. The reception site was incredible. They had string lights set up with lots of antiques. They had a variety of different styled chairs. It was eclectic and stunning! I really enjoyed everything about this wedding. Thank you Alison and Mike for including me in your very special day! I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.
