Kelli and Gary had a simple ceremony at the French Country Inn at Cross Creek Ranch. It was just the sweetest! I just love playing at this venue. It is so beautiful! The flowers are so fragrant and smell amazing. I was so excited when Kelli first contacted me for her wedding because not only would I be playing the ceremony but I would also be playing parts of their reception including the champagne toast, cake cutting, and their first dance. How exciting!?!? I don’t get to play first dances very often so it is an honor when I am asked to do so. While I was setting up the harp, I was able to witness the couple's’ “first look”. I will never forget Gary’s reaction. It was priceless. He was astonished by how beautiful Kelli looked (and she looked gorgeous!). He thought she looked “AMAZING” and she did! The couple included their adorable dog Abby. The ceremony was simple and sweet and highlighted their love for each other and God. They did a sand pouring ceremony which I really enjoy. I think it has such a great message behind it. The ceremony site was decorated with beautiful white flowers. It was pure and elegant just like the ceremony. After the ceremony was finished, I relocated my harp through the grass and mulch to the courtyard. Who needs to work out? LOL The court yard looked so beautiful and I enjoyed playing under the lights. The cake was simply gorgeous. My favorite part of the wedding… the first dance! I played “All of Me” and got to watch the couple dance right in front of me. It was magical, or at least I thought so. This was a memorable wedding for me, and not just because I locked my keys in the car. (Thankfully, they came to unlock my car within 25 minutes and not the hour they estimated!) I’m so honored to have been able to provide the soundtrack to Kelli and Gary’s wedding. I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness! |
