Okay, let me tell you…. I was SOO excited for Liz and James’ Wedding.  Liz was one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever met and I just felt an instant connection to her.  Also, I couldn’t wait to play at one of my favorite venues the Cà d’Zan in Sarasota.  This venue is just breathtaking and it’s no surprise the couple fell in love with the venue.  James and Liz were having a destination wedding here in Florida from Illinois! When picking out the songs for their ceremony, Liz wanted to surprise James by the song choices.  Liz had a great idea for me to play “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles because James calls her “sunshine”.  How stinkin’ cute is that?!  Liz also requested that we decorate my harp.  Beth (my harp) loves to dress up so I was so excited for her to have beautiful flowers on her column… and it looked PERFECT!! When I first saw the bride she was being escorted on the trolley to the ceremony site.  Liz was absolutely stunning.  I’m pretty sure she’s a model… I mean absolutely gorgeous! The ceremony was simple and sweet.  Liz was so giddy and excited to be marrying the man of her dreams.  I’ll never forget the way this couple looked at each other.  I’m so honored that I get to witness such incredible moments between two people.  Thank you Liz and James for having me play for your special day.  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love!
